KIWER has been tasked to calculate service costs for the integrated waste management system in the municipality of Prishtina based on the analysis of the current tariff system in the municipality of Pristina, identifying the strong and weak sides of the system/ The project has analysed different options for improving the tariff system, taking into account the good practices and methods applied in the EU member states in relation to the coverage of costs that could have been implemented in the municipality of Pristina and Kosovo. The project has analysed the current tariff categorization of households and businesses according to the existing situation and the recommendation of the best applicable method.
