The project focused on enhancing the institutional and technical capacities of the Water and Wastewater Company Hidroregjioni Jugor of Prizren to effectively manage operations at the new Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The project was divided into two phases: the first phase concentrated on institutional strengthening, while the second phase focused on professional training. Key areas addressed by the project intervention included reorganization and restructuring, human resources development, Geographic Information System (GIS) implementation for sewage network and related infrastructure, and specialized training. Additionally, the project undertook specific tasks such as the development of a Tariff Strategy, preparation of a Sludge Management Concept, formulation of an Industrial Management Concept, and provision of support for WWTP operations.
