The project assisted municipalities of Zvečan, North Mitrovica, Leposavič and Zubin Potok
in carrying out assessment for investment needs for basic waste collection services. Project has conducted a comprehensive assessment of the existing infrastructure used for waste collection, including vehicles, containers, bins, transfer stations, and disposal facilities.
The current waste collection operations are analysed and inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization have been identified. The waste collection system is analysed to meet current and future demand. The project has drafted the list of potential investments associated with the related costs and benefits.
