KIWER, as a member of the Consortium led by Dorsch and awarded by KfW, has been entrusted with the task of executing the Accompanying Measures Institutional Development project for the Regional Water and Wastewater Company (RWC) Hidroregjioni Jugor Prizren. This strategic initiative is designed to bolster the institutional and technical capabilities of RWC Hidroregjioni Jugor Prizren, particularly focusing on optimizing operations at the new Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
The project unfolds in two distinct phases, each strategically tailored to address crucial aspects of capacity-building. The initial phase is dedicated to enhancing institutional resilience, while the subsequent phase prioritizes professional training initiatives. Key focal points of the project intervention encompass comprehensive reorganization and restructuring efforts, human capital development strategies, implementation of a robust Geographic Information System (GIS) for sewage network and associated infrastructure, and targeted specialized training programs.
Furthermore, the project will undertake specialized tasks such as crafting a Tariff Strategy, formulating a Sludge Management Concept, devising an Industrial Management Concept, and providing essential support for seamless WWTP operations. This multifaceted approach underscores our commitment to driving sustainable development and operational excellence within the realm of water and wastewater management.
