KIWER, as a member of the Consortium led by Dorsch, has been honored with the contract from KfW for executing “The Municipal Water Supply and Sewage Disposal in Prishtina Phase III,” a strategic endeavor aimed at advancing water infrastructure in the region. This multifaceted contract encompasses crucial activities including design, procurement, construction supervision, and liability for two significant components.
Under Component No. 1, KIWER will oversee the meticulous execution of constructing Water Transport Facilities, which entails a comprehensive scope of tasks such as:
- Establishing a raw water intake system from the Iber Canal at Mihaliq.
- Constructing a gravity pipeline DN1200 spanning 9.0 km from Mihaliq to the pumping station at Milosheva.
- Developing a raw water pumping station at Millosheva.
- Installing a pressure main DN1200 extending 4.5 km from Millosheva to the water treatment plant in Shkabaj.
- Connecting the water treatment plant to existing reservoirs in Shkabaj and Arberia via transmission pipes DN800, with lengths of 3.8 km and 2.8 km respectively.
