KIWER has been honoured with the award by the Prishtina Municipality to undertake a comprehensive review and propose service costs for the integrated waste management system within the municipality of Prishtina based on the economic principles and full project lifecycle. The project will meticulously analyze various options aimed at enhancing the tariff system, drawing inspiration from the best practices and methodologies observed in EU member states concerning cost coverage strategies that could be effectively implemented in both the municipality of Prishtina and Kosovo at large. Moreover, the project will conduct an in-depth evaluation of the current tariff categorization of households and businesses, aligning with the existing landscape while recommending the most suitable and applicable method for optimal outcomes.
